Hi friends,
After a long break, I’m excited to share that I’m back and ready to reconnect with this incredible community. Today, I want to open up about my journey through burnout, what I’ve learned, and how I’m reigniting my creative passion.
If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, I also recorded the first episode of The Standout Creatives, a relaunch of my podcast. It’s a deeper dive into my story if you’d like to listen.
Facing Burnout Head-On
Years ago, I started this blog and the Cracking Creativity podcast to empower artists and creatives like you to market your work and grow your audiences. I poured my heart into these projects, driven by my desire to help you thrive.
But over time, I hit a wall. I started questioning if all my hard work was really making a difference. Was I truly reaching the people I wanted to help? Was my message resonating?
Eventually, I made the difficult decision to step back.
This, my friends, is burnout—a familiar challenge for so many creatives and entrepreneurs. It’s that feeling when you’ve worked so long or so hard that continuing feels impossible.
Rediscovering My Passion
After taking the time I needed to recharge and reflect, I’ve realized that my calling hasn’t changed. Empowering and supporting creatives like you is still my passion.
Now, I’m ready to return—not just with a fresh perspective, but with new energy and exciting projects to share.
What’s Next
Here’s what I’ve been working on:
1. Standout Creative Business: I’m helping artists, entrepreneurs, and creatives launch their new projects—whether it’s art, books, workshops, or courses. If you’ve got something you’re passionate about but need help with marketing, I’m here for you.
2. Standout Creatives Podcast: I’ve relaunched Cracking Creativity as The Standout Creatives. This podcast will focus on helping creative business owners stand out in competitive markets. The first episode is already live, where I share more about my journey.
3. Creativity Parties: I’m hosting events designed to spark inspiration, solve business challenges, and bring entrepreneurs together in fun, collaborative ways.
Let’s Reconnect
If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to leave a comment or reply to this post—I’m excited to reconnect and hear about what you’ve been working on.
And if you’re no longer on your creative journey, that’s okay, too. I’m grateful for the time we shared, and I wish you the best in whatever comes next.
Here’s to new beginnings,
Kevin
