I have to admit that I’ve been holding back. It’s easy to give advice or prescriptions, but it’s much harder to do it yourself. That’s why I want to put myself out there.

For the most part, my dreams have been small. I’ve self-published one book and have another one on the way. I’ve started up a podcast, built this site, and an e-mail list, and I’ve had some wonderful conversations with artists and creatives. But none of these things are part of my ultimate goal.

I’ve heard multiple times, in several conversations, people talk about what they would do if they had a magic wand and could do anything at all. All I know is, I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing now.

Even though I’ve enjoyed the work I’ve done up to this point, I think I can do much better. I want to visit creatives and see what it takes to create beautiful works of art. I want to help artists grow their businesses. I want to bring artists and creatives together so they can help each other.

I’ve been able to complete my smaller short term goals, but I need to reach much farther. I need to dream big. I need to dare to fail.

We only get so much time on Earth. Which means we need to take some chances. What’s the worst that could happen? Even if you fall on your face, you can always get back up and try again.

It all starts with having a plan. What would your ideal day look like? What would you be doing? How can you begin to make your way towards that ideal life?

I want to live a creatively fulfilling life. I want to spend my days exploring what it means to live life to its fullest. And I want to help you do the same.

So, this is a call to you. What are you struggling with? What is your big dream? Are you pursuing it? If not, I want to know why.

“Explore, Dream, Discover.” – H. Jackson Brown Jr. Quote Art

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover.”
– H. Jackson Brown Jr.

As far as we all know, we only get one life to live. If you look back on your life, what regrets will you have?

This is the exact question an Australian nurse, Bronnie Ware, explored. She spent several years caring for patients in the last weeks of their lives and recorded their responses on her blog called Inspiration and Chai. The posts became so popular that she turned her observations into a book: The Top Five Regrets of the Dying.

The biggest regret of the dying patients was “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”

[bctt tweet=”Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it”]

According to Ware, “This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.”

What are we doing every day to live a fulfilling life? How many of your dreams have gone unfulfilled? Don’t let the expectations of others affect what you truly want to do.

[bctt tweet=”A life of regret is a life unfulfilled”]

We have the choice of living the life we want to live or living the life others want us to live. Don’t ignore what your heart is telling you to do. A life of regret is a life unfulfilled. Take Brown’s advice and “Explore, Dream, Discover.”

Life – James Dean Quote Art

This is a call to all you dreamers out there.

We live in a world where what once seemed impossible becomes possible. All of the world’s known knowledge is at our fingertips. We can travel across the globe in hours. We can talk to others who speak a foreign language without having to learn it.

[bctt tweet=”What can you do to bring a positive change upon the world?”]

We live a world filled with potential. There has been no greater time in history than the present, and we must not squander it. What can you do to bring a positive change upon the world? Sure, not everyone can build the next Google or Facebook, but who says we have to.

[bctt tweet=”Our dreams are only limited by our faith in accomplishing them. “]

Our dreams are only limited by our faith in accomplishing them. Instead of complaining about your present situation, find a way to change it. Make lofty goals, and do everything you can to achieve them. They may seem impossible at the moment, but work at it each day, and you will come that much closer to achieving it.

[bctt tweet=”We only get one life to live. We might as well make the best of it.”]

In order to do that, you must get started. Don’t wait until tomorrow, or next week, or next year. Get started today and you can be on your way to achieving your dreams. After all, we only get one life to live. We might as well make the best of it.
